All exams take place on campus. These are written on campus and take 60 minutes to complete. The exams are written on paper prepared by us and must be handed in complete, including the task sheet and scratch paper. Please have your student ID card or photo ID ready on the day of the exam during the attendance check. If necessary, look out for signs at the entrance so that you enter the room on the correct side.
If you are unable to take the exam due to illness or other valid reasons, please inform the student advising office as soon as possible and submit your medical certificate or other proof immediately. The medical certificate can be issued informally by a doctor, provided it contains all the information on the certificate form. It is important that in the event of illness it is confirmed that the examination candidate is NOT ABLE TO TAKE the examination in question. Certificates that merely certify an inability to work will not be recognized. If you are absent from the examination without excuse, the examination will be graded as “insufficient” (5.0). In this case, you must take the re-sit examination in the examination phase of the following semester at the latest. You must then log in again. You will not be automatically logged in for the re-sit examination by the student advising office.
Please refer to our overview of examination modalities to find out which modules are completed with an exam, the examination modalities of the exams and information on the place and time.
Important instructions: Please switch off your cell phones and smartphones during writing time and do not wear smartwatches. If you do wear one, we will have to ask you to take it off during the exam. If you need a dictionary, you must let us know in advance and present it for inspection at the attendance check.
