You can log in to JOGU-StINe to register for the compulsory internship when you register for the internship seminar. If you would like to complete the compulsory internship alongside your studies, you do not have to take a semester on leave. You can then catch up on the seminars in one of the following semesters.

If you would like to find out about suitable intern positions, please contact the internship supervisors of the individual tracks of study in the respective internship courses.

The specializations provide you with documents on the tracks of study with instructions on internships and internship reports.

The career information fair: Educators in Appointments

Dear students of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz,
the career information fair “PädagogInnen im Beruf” will take place this year on 02.06.2023. Various faculties from the field will be presenting themselves here. You will find important contacts and contact persons for possible intern positions, job opportunities or to obtain general information.

We would be delighted if you take advantage of this offer. We would also like to thank the various exhibitors who have made this offer possible for you with their help.

Until then, we wish you a great time!
Your Student Council for Educational Science at JGU Mainz

You can find more information on the event website.

The Institute of Education recommends that you spend several months abroad during your BA degree program. As part of your stay abroad, you can also complete internships which may be recognized. Please contact your internship supervisor for your specialization in good time. You can obtain information on internships abroad from the university’s EU Service Point and the Erasmus office.
You can clarify which programs of study and examinations can be recognized at the academic advisory office.
